EFFORT

This project involves creating art in 3D. When I was in my hometown, South Korea, I often heard that people perceive designers as individuals who do something sitting comfortably at computers. This notion sparked the idea for this artwork, as I wanted to dispel such stereotypes and provide explanations for their misconceptions. To convey the meaning that creating one successful design often involves nearly a thousand failures and a great deal of contemplation, I chose to represent the process of success with stairs and the process of failure with skulls.
